Your information

Privacy Policy

How information is handled when you visit Claws & Bonds or use PawTrack.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

1. Pet records on your device

PawTrack stores pet profiles, health and weight logs, routines, training records, diaries, reminders and saved vet briefs in your browser’s local storage. These records are not automatically synchronised between devices or saved as a cloud pet account. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to view them.

You can remove individual entries or pets in PawTrack, or clear this website’s stored data through your browser settings. Clearing browser data may permanently erase records. Export reports before clearing data if you want to keep a copy.

2. Optional AI vet briefs

When you request an AI vet brief, the selected pet’s profile and the observations you submit are sent to our server and processed through Lovable’s AI Gateway and its AI provider. Other pets and unrelated histories are not included. Saved drafts and results remain in your browser.

The AI request asks the provider not to store the response, but this is not a guarantee that all processing or service logs are immediately deleted. Third-party processing and retention are governed by those services’ terms. Avoid including personal, financial or other sensitive information in observations. Briefs are non-diagnostic and do not replace veterinary advice.

3. Optional Google Calendar connection

When calendar synchronisation is configured and used, a random browser device key is registered with our cloud service to authorise requests. Reminder titles, dates, times, types, the pet’s name and your time zone are processed through the connection service and sent to Google Calendar. Synced event identifiers are kept with the local reminder. Google handles calendar data under its own privacy terms. Clearing PawTrack storage does not automatically remove events already saved to Google Calendar.

4. Contact messages

The Contact page prepares a message in your own email app; it does not submit messages through the website. If you send the email, your name, reply address and message are handled by the email services involved and become available to us for responding. Do not email confidential veterinary records unless necessary.

5. External services and advertising

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google and sends standard request information such as your IP address. External conservation links open third-party websites with their own privacy practices.

Google AdSense placements are currently disabled: no ad slots or AdSense script are loaded by our ad feature. This policy will need to be updated before advertising is enabled.

6. Storage, sessions and service logs

Local storage supports PawTrack’s saved records and calendar device key. If a sign-in session is present, authentication services may store session information. Hosting and connected services may process technical request or error logs for operation and security. This policy does not promise that all service-level logs or cookies are absent, or specify an unverified retention period.

7. Your choices and questions

You can use the journal without requesting AI briefs or syncing a calendar. Downloaded PDFs and CSVs remain under your control; consider who can access your downloads and any copies you share.

For privacy questions or requests relating to information you have sent us, email claawsbond@gmail.com or visit our Contact page. We may need further information to identify the information involved. Browser-only pet records can be removed on the device where they are stored.

8. Changes

We will update this page as website services or data practices change and revise the date above.
